Are you a girl who loves alley cat? Or one who has always wanted to try one? Whichever it is, make sure you don't miss only the second all-girl alley cat ever held in Australia.
This girl-only alley cat is going to be awesome. With a huge list of sponsors and prizes, including Treadlie tees and subscriptions, this year's event looks is going to be even bigger and better than last year's. Designed to encourage girls to ride, participants will ride with a buddy. Everyone is welcome!
Registration is at Melbourne Museum at 7.00pm for a 7:30 start on April 1st. All profits will be donated to WIRE, the Women's Information and Referral Exchange.
A vegan friendly BBQ with music will be hosted by the awesome Pony Bikes after the event. If you can't make it for the ride make sure you at least get along to the BBQ. You can find more information here.

How rough are these events? I've seen clips on YouTube of some pretty hairy stuff when it comes to alleycat races. Would your average, road-rule-respecting cyclist chick be steamrolled by more seasoned racers? Am intrigued but just a bit scared...
